[LOMAR 2026] Ho Chi Minh City Leaders Visit and Encourage Competition Teams at Duc Nhuan Ward

22 Jun, 2026

On the morning of June 20, 2026, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City visited and encouraged the competition teams participating in the Hackathon round of the Local Marketing Project – LOMAR 2026 at Duc Nhuan Ward. The activity recognized the creative spirit and community responsibility of students in applying technology, communications, and marketing to propose local development solutions.

On the morning of June 20, 2026, a working delegation of Ho Chi Minh City leaders visited the "Digital Summer" youth volunteer teams currently carrying out missions in wards, communes, and special zones across the city.

At Duc Nhuan Ward, Comrade Le Quoc Phong – Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Comrade Lam Dinh Thang – Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the City Department of Science and Technology; Comrade Ngo Minh Hai – Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the City Youth Union, along with leaders of agencies and units under the City Party Committee, the City Department of Science and Technology, the City Youth Union, and the Vietnam Student Association of Ho Chi Minh City, visited and encouraged the competition teams participating in the Hackathon round of the Local Marketing Project – LOMAR 2026.

Within the framework of the exhibition of competition proposals under the theme "Elevating Ho Van Hue Happy Street," the teams presented their ideas to city leaders and residents through an infographic exhibition space and various creative presentation formats. Many teams applied modern technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and digital interactive platforms to visualize their ideas, delivering vivid experiences that helped viewers more clearly understand the proposed local development plans.

Through the presentations and exchanges, city leaders acknowledged the creative spirit, professional competence, and community responsibility of the competition teams; they also encouraged the students to continue fostering their aspirations for contribution, bringing positive values to the community and society.

LOMAR 2026 believes that with the attention, companionship, and support of city leaders, agencies, units, and localities, students' ideas will have more opportunities to be nurtured, developed, and gradually contribute to the sustainable development of localities in the future.
