MOU Re-signing between UEH College of Business and Baker Tilly A&C: Continuing Partnership in Training and Talent Development in Accounting – Auditing

On the afternoon of June 1, 2026, the UEH College of Business (COB) organized a ceremony to re-sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with A&C Auditing and Consulting Company Limited (Baker Tilly A&C) for the 2026-2031 period. This partnership aims to enhance training quality and the development of young professionals in the field of economics, particularly in accounting and auditing, including expanding the pool of young talent in Vietnam.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of UEH were: Dr. Tran Anh Hoa - Vice Rector of UEH College of Business; Dr. Nguyen Tan Trung - Chief of Office of the College of Business; Dr. Nguyen Phuoc Bao An - Head of the School of Accounting; Dr. Phan Thi Bao Quyen - Deputy Head of the School of Accounting; along with faculty members serving as Heads/Deputy Heads of subject groups and Program Directors of the School of Accounting.

On the side of A&C Auditing and Consulting Company Limited (A&C) were: Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri - Deputy General Director and Head of Training; Mr. Hoang Thai Vuong - Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Bao Anh - Deputy General Director; Ms. Tran Pham Mai Anh - Human Resources Director; Ms. Pham Huynh Anh Thu - Audit Director and Secretary of Training; Ms. Bui Thi Tinh - Deputy Head of Human Resources and Administration .

In her opening speech, Dr. Tran Anh Hoa emphasized the University's development orientation toward continuously improving training quality and expanding cooperation with reputable businesses and professional organizations to closely link training with practice. With its strengths in training in economics, finance, accounting, and auditing, alongside its strategy of developing into a multidisciplinary university, UEH always prioritizes building a modern learning environment, creating conditions for learners to access career trends and the practical demands of the labor market. The College of Business highly values its partnership with Baker Tilly A&C over the years. The re-signing of this cooperation agreement marks a new phase in the relationship between UEH and Baker Tilly A&C, aiming to expand activities in scholarship support, training, research, and high-quality human resource development. Both sides expect to continue working together to create practical value for learners, contributing to meeting society's human resource needs in the context of international integration and transformation.

Representing A&C Auditing and Consulting Company Limited, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri shared that the cooperation between the College of Business and A&C over the years has brought career orientation programs and skills workshops for students, equipping them with practical knowledge and skills for a successful transition from university to the professional environment. He expressed his hope that the partnership between the two sides would continue to be sustainable, bringing positive development and reaching students.

During the previous cooperation period, UEH College of Business and Baker Tilly A&C jointly implemented many practical activities to strengthen the connection between the university and businesses. The two sides co-organized seminars on technology auditing and information systems, enabling students to access new industry trends. Additionally, Baker Tilly A&C regularly supported corporate visit programs, received student interns, and recruited UEH students to work at the company. Notably, Baker Tilly A&C experts directly participated in teaching and shared practical experience in several auditing courses, contributing to improving training quality and helping students better understand professional requirements in the real work environment.

In the spirit of sustainable cooperation and development, UEH College of Business and A&C Auditing and Consulting Company Limited officially signed the Cooperation Agreement to strengthen the connection between the university and businesses in training, research, and human resource development. Accordingly, the two sides will coordinate to implement training activities linked to professional practice, promote joint research and projects, strengthen connections and attract high-quality human resources, and accompany the "Giving to UEH – Connecting Communities, Disseminating Knowledge, Sustainable Action" Fund. The cooperation agreement serves as an important foundation for both sides to continue leveraging their strengths and creating practical value for learners, businesses, and the community.
