Attending the ceremony on behalf of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City were Assoc. Prof. Pham Duong Phuong Thao - Deputy Head, Department of Research - Development and Global Engagement; Mr. Phan Ngoc Anh - Deputy Head, Department of Communications and Partnerships; Dr. Nguyen Phuoc Bao An - Dean, School of Accounting; Dr. Phan Thi Bao Quyen - Vice Dean, School of Accounting, along with lecturers from the School of Accounting.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Representing PwC Vietnam, Ms. Luong Thi Anh Tuyet - Partner, Assurance Services and Markets Leader, shared her expectations for a long-term partnership between the two organizations in nurturing a new generation of young professionals equipped with strong expertise, innovative thinking, and the adaptability required in today’s rapidly evolving professional environment.

Through the partnership between UEH and PwC, both parties aim to build a closely connected ecosystem linking the university, businesses, and students through various academic and career-oriented activities. Collaborative initiatives include professional seminars, academic competitions, company visits, career fairs, recruitment programs, and networking activities with industry experts. PwC will accompany UEH in sharing practical knowledge, industry trends, and professional experiences through its experts serving as speakers, mentors, and judges in student-focused activities. In addition, both sides will further strengthen career orientation and professional networking programs, enabling students to access internship and employment opportunities while developing their professional competencies in an international environment.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of the “PwC - SOA Empowerment Scholarship” jointly implemented by PwC Vietnam and the School of Accounting, UEH College of Business. The scholarship is dedicated to students facing financial difficulties who continuously strive for academic excellence and personal development. Beyond financial assistance, the scholarship reflects the commitment of PwC Vietnam and UEH to supporting students in pursuing their educational journeys, career aspirations, and international integration.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between UEH and PwC Vietnam further reaffirmed UEH’s strategic direction in strengthening cooperation with leading corporations and enterprises, thereby contributing to the creation of a modern, practical, and sustainable educational environment while enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnam’s human resources in the context of globalization. UEH believes that the partnership with PwC Vietnam will continue to generate meaningful value for learners through opportunities for learning, practical experience, and career development. At the same time, it will strengthen the connection between academia and industry, contributing to the sustainable development of the business community and the Vietnamese economy.
