The training course "IFC Training Program: Operation Overview and Participation Strategy" is designed to equip learners with a foundational knowledge base and core competencies regarding International Financial Centers (IFCs). Notably, the program incorporates the latest contents related to Resolution No. 222/2025/QH15 and the guiding decrees on the establishment and operation of the International Financial Center in Vietnam under the "One center, two destinations" model in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
The training course "Knowledge of Operating the Vietnam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City" was implemented based on the cooperation agreement between the New York Institute of Finance (NYIF) and UEH signed in October 2025, following the proposal of the Executive Agency of the Vietnam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC). The objective was to prepare high-quality human resources for VIFC-HCMC during its formation and development phase.
Previously, from February to March 2026, UEH successfully organized the first cohort of the training program with 48 learners, including leaders and specialists from various departments, agencies, and the VIFC-HCMC Executive Agency, as well as lecturers involved in IFC-related training.
The course brought together a team of experts and UEH lecturers alongside speakers from financial institutions, investment funds, and financial technology enterprises, offering multidimensional perspectives on IFC operations, financial markets, Fintech, cryptocurrencies, risk management, and development strategies for International Financial Centers. After 8 sessions covering 8 in-depth modules, all 48 learners were awarded course completion certificates by UEH and VIFC-HCMC.

The success of Cohort 1 serves as an important milestone and foundation for UEH to continue deploying a series of strategic training programs, accompanying the City and the nation in the journey to build a dynamic, modern International Financial Center with regional and global standing.
Continuing from Cohort 1, based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), UEH and the Executive Agency of the International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC) jointly organize the training course IFC Training Program: Operation Overview and Participation Strategy for personnel of member units and registered member units of the Vietnam International Financial Center.. The course will be conducted as a concentrated training program over 3 weeks (from May 30 to June 14, 2026) at UEH Campus B, consisting of 10 sessions covering 09 modules:
Teaching activities combine lectures, discussions, international case study analyses, and practical workshops, with the participation of UEH lecturers and experts from financial institutions, investment funds, and financial technology enterprises.
With the development orientation under the “University-City Innovation Hub”, UEH is not only a higher education institution training high-quality human resources but also a strategic partner of the City in addressing urban development, economic, and innovation challenges./.
