In 2026, the UEH International Academic Ecosystem is being implemented through 04 core programs: The UEH100 International Scholar Program, International Research Lab – IRL, International Project-based PhD and Postdoctoral Program.
The Doctoral training program at UEH now serves as a gateway for candidates to become part of this academic ecosystem, where learners are connected with international scholars, participate in substantive research groups, and develop their research capabilities according to global standards.
11 Doctoral programs offering in-depth research on socio-economic development and policy formulation
The second intake of doctoral admissions for 2026 offers 11 programs across the fields of social and behavioral sciences, business and management, mathematical statistics, and law. The programs are designed to combine in-depth research with practical application, aiming to develop a cohort of scientists and researchers capable of identifying, analyzing, and addressing emerging societal issues.

The 11 programs are as follows:
- Political Economy – Code: 9310102
- Development Economics – Code: 9310105
- Economic Management – Code: 9310110
- Business Administration – Code: 9340101
- Commercial Business – Code: 9340121
- Finance – Banking – Code: 9340201
(Including: Finance, Public Finance, Banking).
In addition to eligibility requirements for candidates with relevant academic backgrounds, UEH also expands access to candidates graduating from related fields in accordance with regulations, facilitating interdisciplinary connections and promoting the development of interdisciplinary research directions in doctoral training.

07 full-time doctoral candidateships with 100% tuition fee waiver, enabling candidates to fully focus on their professional academic journey
In the second intake of doctoral admissions for 2026, UEH has reserved 07 full-time doctoral candidateships for qualified candidates.
Selected doctoral candidates will receive a 100% tuition fee waiver along with a fixed monthly income and other benefits in accordance with regulations, enabling them to fully dedicate themselves to their studies and research.

With this specialized investment mechanism, the full-time doctoral program aims to provide an academic environment with sufficient depth for doctoral candidates to focus on enhancing the quality of their dissertations, developing their scientific publications, and gradually building an academic profile in line with international standards.

Concurrently, the University is also implementing the nternational Project-based PhD, where doctoral candidates participate in research groups, receive a full tuition fee waiver, and have their research expenses covered by the group's operational budget. They work alongside prestigious domestic and international scholars, aim for international publications, and progressively develop into global academic scholars with sustainable ties to the UEH International Academic Ecosystem.
