University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Signs Cooperation Agreement with Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company to Promote Digital Technology Applications in Physical Education

On May 26, 2026, at Campus A of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, the signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement between UEH and Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company took place with the participation of leaders from both organizations, representatives of the Vietnam Vovinam Federation, and invited guests. The event marked a new milestone in integrating education, technology, and traditional Vietnamese martial arts in a modern, flexible manner aligned with digital transformation trends.

Representing UEH were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – Director of UEH; Dr. Thai Kim Phung – Acting Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and Partnerships; M.A. Nguyen Hoang Son – Deputy Head of the Academic Affairs Department; M.A. Phan Ngoc Anh – Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and Partnerships; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Son – Director of the Physical Education Center, along with representatives of UEH lecturers.

Representing the Vietnam Vovinam Federation and Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company were Master Tran Van My - Chief Executive Master of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao and President of the Vietnam Vovinam Federation; Master Vo Thanh Lam - Executive Masters Council of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao; Master Nguyen Hong Tam - Ancestral Hall Representative of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao; Master Le Ngoc Ngoan; Mr. Bach Ngoc Chien - CEO of Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company; and Ms. Hoang Tieu Binh - Executive Assistant to the CEO of Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company.

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Quang Hung emphasized: “In the context of digital transformation profoundly reshaping higher education worldwide, innovation in teaching methods is no longer limited to specialized academic disciplines, but is expanding into all aspects of the university experience, including physical education, skills development, and comprehensive competency building for learners.”

The UEH President stated that the collaboration among UEH, the Vietnam Vovinam Federation, and Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company would open “a new approach to implementing Vovinam Viet Vo Dao at UEH by combining the values of Vietnamese martial arts, educational technology, and flexible learning models of the digital era.”

Through digital platforms, electronic learning materials, and AI-powered solutions such as Vovinam Seeing and the virtual martial arts instructor BamBoy, students will have greater opportunities to access proactive, modern learning methods suited to the needs of today’s learners.

Representing the enterprise, Mr. Bach Ngoc Chien - CEO of Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company - expressed his desire to accompany UEH in applying digital platforms and artificial intelligence to the teaching, learning, and management of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao courses. He hoped this cooperation model would contribute to creating a modern learning environment, enhancing student initiative, and promoting educational innovation in the era of digital transformation.

According to the cooperation agreement for the 2026-2029 period, UEH and Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company will collaborate to introduce Vovinam Viet Vo Dao into the Physical Education curriculum at UEH. Both parties will deploy digital platforms to support teaching, learning, and management of the elective Vovinam course; develop digital learning materials including lecture videos, e-textbooks, and technical exercises; and apply AI technologies such as Vovinam Seeing and the virtual martial arts instructor BamBoy in testing and evaluating learning outcomes.

The initial model will be implemented as a fully online self-learning format, enabling students to study independently through digital platforms and learning materials provided by Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company. Based on evaluations after each semester, UEH may adjust, transform, or combine teaching models to better meet practical needs.

In addition, the two organizations will jointly organize seminars, workshops, recruitment events, experience-sharing activities, and enhance brand visibility through each party’s communication channels and activities.
