Overview of the opening ceremony of the training course "IFC Training Program: Operation Overview and Participation Strategy"

In the context of Vietnam accelerating the implementation of the Vietnam International Financial Center according to the "One Center, Two Destinations" model in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, the need to prepare a workforce knowledgeable about institutions, operational mechanisms, and strategies for participating in the international financial ecosystem has become increasingly urgent.

Previously, in February 2026, UEH coordinated with VIFC-HCMC to sponsor and successfully organize the first cohort of the training program, with the participation of 48 learners from various departments, agencies, the VIFC-HCMC Executive Agency, and lecturers involved in IFC-related training. The success of the first cohort serves as an important foundation for UEH to continue deploying the second cohort of the training program "IFC Training Program: Operation Overview and Participation Strategy," aiming to prepare a core workforce for the Vietnam International Financial Center under the "One Center, Two Destinations" model in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

Attending the program, from UEH, were: Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Vice President of UEH; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phong Nguyen - Rector of UEH College of Business; Dr. Thai Kim Phung - Acting Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and Partnerships; M.A. Nguyen Hoang Son - Deputy Head of the Department of Training; along with the 31 learners of the second cohort.

In his opening declaration for the training course, Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Vice President of UEH affirmed: "The program is designed to combine academic foundations, international practical experience, and discussion activities, workshops, and real-world case study analyses to help learners not only access knowledge but also enhance their ability to apply it in their work and formulate strategies for their respective units. UEH believes that this training course will contribute to building a workforce with international thinking, adaptability, and the ability to participate effectively in the ecosystem of the Vietnam International Financial Center in the future. Furthermore, this is an important step in the journey to build a modern, transparent, innovative, and competitive financial ecosystem in the region and the world."
