From more than 350 research submissions, the peer-review process selected 293 papers for inclusion in the conference proceedings, comprising 245 full papers and 48 abstracts, published in five volumes. Notably, 62 outstanding papers were selected for presentation across 12 parallel academic sessions.
Student research covered a wide range of topics, including energy transition, green growth, sustainable finance, applications of artificial intelligence in business, consumer behavior on digital platforms, organizational management, smart cities, and food security. In each session, author teams had the opportunity to present their findings, engage with scholars, respond to questions, and receive expert feedback, enabling them to further refine their research approaches and methodologies.

One of the highlights of SR-ICYREB 2026 was the two keynote presentations delivered by international scholars, offering in-depth research perspectives on economic development, environmental issues, and human capital. These sessions also provided students with opportunities to explore emerging research directions, engage directly with international scholars, and broaden their academic perspectives beyond their respective disciplines.
In his presentation, “Maximizing Economic Growth Subject to a Carbon Budget Constraint,” Prof. Hans Lööf from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, analyzed the challenge of reconciling economic growth with emissions reduction targets within a defined carbon budget.

Through developing research topics, analyzing data, presenting findings, and responding to peer review, students had the opportunity to strengthen their research methodologies, critical thinking, and scientific reasoning skills. The conference also provided a foundation for author teams to connect with scholars, exchange ideas with students from diverse educational institutions, and develop academic networks both domestically and internationally. At the conclusion of the conference, outstanding research papers were recognized through the Best Paper Awards, acknowledging the efforts and academic contributions of students and young researchers.
