Promoting student exchange through international internship model
During the discussion session, the two sides exchanged views on specific cooperation methods such as course development, lecturer exchange, implementation of Dual Degree programs, student exchange, and international internship connections.
Notably, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung proposed a student exchange model through the International Internship Exchange program. Accordingly, UEH students could undertake internships in Germany at WUAS's partner enterprises, while WUAS students would have the opportunity to come to Vietnam for internships at UEH's partner enterprises. This model is expected to help students from both sides enhance practical experience and expand their adaptability in international academic and professional environments.
Academic connection, towards Dual Degree Programs
To promote research cooperation, UEH and WUAS agreed to initially share catalogs of scientific publications, articles, and research directions of lecturers and researchers from both sides. This will serve as a basis for identifying areas of mutual interest, thereby developing joint research topics and international publications in the future -5.
The two sides also established Points of Contact (POCs) to continue exchanges and prepare for the roadmap to implement Dual Degree programs in the coming period. The working session concluded with numerous potential cooperation orientations, contributing to promoting the internationalization of UEH's training and research activities, while expanding academic connections between UEH and higher education partners in Germany.
