[UEH 50 Global Partners] Promoting Academic Connectivity and International Articulation Programs between UEH and The University of Sydney (Australia)

On May 8, 2026, the School of International Business – Marketing, UEH College of Business (COB), held a meeting and working session with representatives from The University of Sydney (Australia) aimed at strengthening international connectivity and expanding global learning opportunities for UEH students. This is one of the key activities under the "UEH 50 Years - 50 Partners in 5 Continents" program series, towards the 50th anniversary of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).

Attending the program, from UEH, were: Dr. Ha Quang An - Program Director, Undergraduate Program in International Business; Dr. Hoang Thu Hang - Program Director, Undergraduate Program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Dr. Nguyen Tran Phuoc - Lecturer, School of International Business – Marketing, along with UEH students.

From The University of Sydney, there were: Dr. Rosa Taghikhah - Senior Lecturer, Sydney Business School; Mr. Bui Anh Duc and Ms. Tran Quynh Nhu - Representatives of The University of Sydney in Vietnam.

Opening the program, Dr. Hoang Thu Hang delivered a welcome speech to the partner delegation and shared the long-term cooperation orientations between the two sides across various aspects such as teaching, scientific research, student exchange, and the development of international articulation programs. In the context of increasingly strong globalization of education, promoting international cooperation is expected to open up more learning and career development opportunities for UEH students.

At the program, Mr. Bui Anh Duc - Representative of The University of Sydney in Vietnam, also shared specific information regarding the articulation program in International Business at The University of Sydney, including the study roadmap, credit transfer policies, and scholarship opportunities available for UEH students.

From a professional perspective, Dr. Ha Quang An also shared insights and encouraged UEH students to explore the articulation program in International Business at The University of Sydney - one of UEH's reputable partners on global university rankings.

Following the program was a demo-class on the topic of data visualization in business, delivered directly by Dr. Rosa Taghikhah. Through this experiential class, UEH students had the opportunity to experience international teaching methods while gaining a clearer understanding of the learning environment and training content of the articulation program with The University of Sydney.

The working session and demo-class contributed to promoting UEH's internationalization orientation in training and research and further affirmed the University's commitment to enhancing academic quality and bringing more international learning opportunities to its students.

This program is part of the series of 22 key activities aimed at repositioning and assigning new roles to the 8 heritage values created over UEH’s 50-year journey: Unity – Compassion – Dedication – Community – Pioneering – Creation – Sustainability – Internationalization.
