New UEH Publications Alert (Week 3 – April 2026): Affirming Interdisciplinary Research Excellence from Finance, Psychology to Biomedical Technology

20 Apr, 2026

In Week 3 – April 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continues to record an impressive series of international publications, reflecting its expanding research capacity and increasingly strong interdisciplinary orientation. These latest studies demonstrate UEH’s ability to effectively connect economics, management, technology, social sciences, and applied sciences within its research ecosystem.

Addressing Contemporary Issues through Robust Theoretical Foundations

From an academic perspective, UEH researchers have effectively applied and advanced a wide range of established international theoretical frameworks, including ESG standards, the Value–Attitude–Behavior (VAB) model, Signaling Theory, the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) model, and Career Construction Theory.

Notably, UEH’s research ecosystem has actively explored several timely and impactful topics:

Tourism & Management: Integrating ESG standards into tourism SMEs and assessing AI readiness in hospitality and tourism education.

Consumer Behavior & Marketing: Decoding sustainable luxury consumption and examining the effectiveness of green influencer marketing strategies.

- Macroeconomics & Public Sector: Analyzing the impact of local corruption on the public sector while exploring the role of remittances in financial development.

Advancing Methodological Rigor to International Standards

UEH’s research capabilities continue to be strengthened through the application of advanced and rigorous analytical approaches:

- Complex research design: Combining qualitative and quantitative methods, two-step GMM estimation, serial mediation models, and longitudinal studies.

- Data science & applied science: Applying deep learning techniques in medical diagnostics and material science, alongside bibliometric analysis and science mapping.

The integration of micro–macro data and interdisciplinary methodologies ensures both academic rigor and strong practical applicability.

Knowledge Creation and Innovation Leadership

Overall, this week’s publications further reinforce UEH’s position as a reputable interdisciplinary research university. UEH continues to generate new knowledge while contributing meaningfully to innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable development in a rapidly changing global context.
