New UEH Publications Alert (Week 2 – May 2026): Expanding Interdisciplinary Frontiers and Connecting Knowledge for Sustainable Development

19 May, 2026

Week 2 - May 2026, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City continues to publish internationally, reflecting its increasingly strong interdisciplinary research capacity in addressing contemporary global challenges. The studies span a wide range of fields, including energy, ESG, corporate governance, innovation, sustainable consumption, and design technology, demonstrating the strong integration of economics, management, public policy, technology, and sustainable development within UEH’s research ecosystem.

Addressing Global Issues through an Interdisciplinary Academic Lens

Academically, the publications focus on a number of highly relevant and timely topics:

Energy, ESG & governance: Examining climate policy uncertainty, geopolitical fragmentation, and energy transition; evaluating the role of gender equality in corporate boards in reducing ESG gaps; and analyzing the impact of patents on corporate financial policies.

Consumer behavior & sustainable development: Exploring psychological drivers of sustainable consumption, green tourism behavior, and the impact of digital interactions on e-waste recycling activities.

Technology & innovation: Expanding research into advanced technological fields such as transformer architectures in design style representation, AI in hospitality and tourism education, fintech, and green financial technologies.

Methodological Diversity and Practical Applicability

This week’s publications also demonstrate methodological diversity and the application of advanced empirical approaches:

Data analysis & quantitative models: Applying FEM, REM, GMM, and FGLS models alongside financial-management analytics and large-scale behavioral data analysis.

Computational technology & applied sciences: Implementing Deep Learning, transformer architectures, behavioral cognition models, and mathematical methods in computational science and engineering research.

The integration of empirical data, emerging technologies, and interdisciplinary thinking enables these studies to meet international academic standards while generating practical value for businesses, society, and the environment.

Affirming UEH’s Position as an Interdisciplinary Research University

Overall, this week’s publications continue to affirm UEH’s position as an interdisciplinary research university with strong academic capabilities, generating valuable knowledge for the international scientific community while contributing meaningfully to innovation, green transition, and sustainable development in an increasingly volatile global context.
