New UEH Publications Alert (Week 2 – March 2026): Expanding the Research Ecosystem from Economics, Technology to Natural Sciences

18 Mar, 2026

This past week, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continued to record an impressive series of 12 international publications, clearly reflecting UEH's interdisciplinary research orientation in addressing contemporary economic, social, and technological challenges. The works demonstrate a strong and seamless connection between economics, management, technology, and natural sciences within UEH's academic ecosystem.

Pioneering approaches to globally timely topics

In academic terms, UEH scientists have successfully applied and developed numerous important international theoretical frameworks related to corporate innovation, dynamic capabilities, sustainable digital transformation, and ESG.

A highlight of this week's publication series is the in-depth exploration of highly topical subjects linked to global and regional dynamics:

- Technology and Innovation: Decoding the relationship between digital transformation and organizational performance; applying Blockchain in building smart government; and pioneering research on the role of the Metaverse in green supply chain management.

- Macroeconomics and Institutions: Assessing the impact of global geopolitical shocks on growth trajectories and the risk of stagflation.

- Sustainable Development and Adaptation: Analyzing the reality of climate change-induced migration in the Mekong Delta; simultaneously clarifying how stakeholders interpret and practice ESG standards in the tourism industry in Phu Quoc.

Diversification of Methods: From Micro, Macro to Technical Models

The empirical research capacity of the UEH faculty continues to be affirmed through the application of modern research designs and analytical techniques. The works have flexibly utilized mediation-moderation models, combining micro-survey data (from enterprise and employee levels) with multinational macro datasets.

Notably, the emergence of studies employing mathematical models and specialized techniques in the energy field demonstrates the University's multi-method research capability, extending beyond traditional social science boundaries.

Affirming the position of an Interdisciplinary research center

Overall, the publications this week not only enrich the global scientific community's knowledge repository but also provide core implications for corporate innovation strategies, digital transformation, and sustainable development. These results continue to solidify UEH's position as a leading interdisciplinary research center, ready to adapt and create value in a volatile global context.
