MOU Signing Ceremony between the College of Business – UEH and ATALINK Technology JSC

On the morning of May 28, 2025, the College of Business – UEH (COB) and ATALINK Technology JSC solemnly held the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony – a significant milestone in strengthening the university–enterprise partnership. This collaboration aims to foster practical learning and open up valuable academic and career opportunities for students, graduate learners, and faculty in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM).

At the signing ceremony, on behalf of UEH, there was the participation of: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Trang – Associate Rector of College of Business UEH, Dr. Tran Anh Hoa – Vice Rector of College of Business UEH, Dr. Nguyen Tan Trung – Head of COB office, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Thu – Vice Dean of School of International Business – Marketing, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Cuu Long – Vice Dean of School of International Business – Marketing, Dr. Hoang Thu Hang – Director of Undergraduate Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program. Also attending were lecturers and students from the School of International Business – Marketing.

Representing ATALINK Technology JSC: Mr. Eric Lai Duc Nhuan – Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Nguyen Nu Song Ha – Chief Operating Officer and Head of HR. And ss a guest from a partner unit: Ms. Tran Thi Minh Khuong – Founder and CEO of CK HR Consulting

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Trang emphasized the vital role of logistics and supply chain management in both business efficiency and national economic growth. He stressed the urgent demand for high-quality human resources who possess strong expertise, adaptive thinking, and practical insight. He highlighted COB’s strategy to bridge the gap between academic training and industry needs through partnerships with leading enterprises. This collaboration, he noted, reflects UEH's commitment to building a dynamic academic ecosystem and delivering internationally aligned, practice-oriented programs.

Representing ATALINK, Mr. Eric Lai Duc Nhuan outlined the company’s strategic vision in workforce development through university partnerships, especially in the context of a rapidly evolving SCM landscape in Vietnam. The agreement signifies more than institutional cooperation—it is a joint commitment to co-create impactful initiatives for student development, such as real-world projects, research activities, internships, and career-readiness programs.

After the signing ceremony, the program continued with a series of engaging and insightful seminar sessions for UEH students:

  • Ms. Trần Thị Minh Khương – Director of CK HR Consulting – shared on the topic “Career Opportunities in the Supply Chain Sector,” providing an insightful and practical overview of the supply chain management industry in Vietnam.She provided an overview of the SCM industry in Vietnam, common job roles, career paths, and salary ranges. She also addressed the challenges and opportunities of the field amidst digital transformation and globalization, concluding with practical insights into the A–S–K (Attitude – Skills – Knowledge) interview model to help students better prepare for future careers.
  • Mr. Eric Lại Đức Nhuận – Founder and CEO of ATALINK Software Joint Stock Company – continued with two presentations: “Business Needs in Supply Chain Management” and “Collaboration between UEH, ATALINK, and Enterprises.” He shared strategic and academic perspectives on supply chain management, particularly emphasizing the importance of data, technology, and analytical thinking in enhancing business performance.In addition to analyzing the extended supply chain model and Michael Porter’s Diamond Framework to better understand industry and regional competitive advantages, he also introduced diverse career development opportunities for students, graduate learners, and researchers. With a focus on bridging academia and industry, the speaker proposed “Win – Win – Win” collaboration models among universities, students, and businesses to promote applied training, practical research, and the development of an open knowledge ecosystem for the supply chain management sector in Vietnam.

The event concluded with a Q&A and open discussion, where students and faculty exchanged questions and insights with the speakers in an open, engaging setting.
