From December 9, 2025, to February 6, 2026, as part of the "2026 Glocal Innovation for Sustainable Living" event series, the Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM) at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City collaborated with the medical team of Cho Ray Hospital to design, supervise construction, and organize the Cho Ray Hospital Flower Street 2026.

This is a meaningful annual activity at Cho Ray Hospital. The year 2026 marks the third year that ISCM has partnered with the hospital, contributing to creating a modern and civilized Spring Flower Street. The project aims to bring the warm atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday to patients and medical staff who remain at the hospital for treatment and work throughout the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year of 2026.
During the nearly two-month implementation period, from design to construction, students from the Smart Urban Architecture and Design program had the opportunity to experience the process of turning creative ideas into a real-world landscape space. The project's outcome was warmly received by patients, their families, and the medical staff.
This year's Flower Street, themed "A Unified Homeland – Embracing a New Era's Spring," was organized into three main spaces:
"Vietnam – One Home": Recreating the beauty of traditional Tet, spreading a spirit of unity, connection, and sharing.
"Convergence": Representing the nation's transformation in a new era of development.
"Embracing a New Era's Spring": Honoring modern medicine and reflecting Cho Ray Hospital's pioneering role in applying technology and digital transformation.
In addition to traditional Tet imagery, the nation's development milestones were showcased through unique miniature landscapes, such as a map of Vietnam created from fresh flowers. The national and medical digital transformation was vividly represented through models of artificial intelligence, surgical robots, and QR code systems providing hospital information and sending Tet wishes to visitors.
This journey not only brought a warm Tet atmosphere but also marked ISCM's first steps in spreading positive values towards the development of a smart, humane, and sustainable city.
Let's look back with ISCM at the memorable moments of this special journey—a journey of creating beautiful values for the community.
