The "UEH 50+ Global Partners in 5 Continents" program is implemented throughout 2026 with the goal of expanding and deepening UEH's international cooperative relationships. Through the UEH Flag Journey ceremony conducted in many countries, the program has connected with many new partners while continuing to consolidate cooperative relationships that have been built over many years.
To date, the program has recorded the participation of over 25 international partners from various regions around the world:
- Australia & New Zealand: Massey University, University of Queensland, Flinders University, Victoria University of Wellington, University of Sydney, Western Sydney University.

The accompaniment of partners in the year UEH approaches the 50th anniversary milestone also reflects academic connections and cooperation that have been established over many years. On this occasion, a representative of the University of Queensland (Australia) stated:
"This is an important milestone and a genuine recognition of UEH's contributions to Vietnam, as well as the great contributions that the University will continue to make in the future."
The expansion of the partner network does not stop at memoranda of understanding but is being concretized through cooperative programs in training, research, and community development.
Sharing about the orientation of cooperation between universities in the current context, Professor Angie Abdel Shafei - Head of the Department of Business, Flinders University (Australia), stated:
"UEH and Flinders University are sharing a platform of core values: always putting students first and aiming for research that brings practical impact to the community and the country."
On the foundation of those shared values, cooperation activities between UEH and international partners are being implemented across various fields, including:
- Urban Science, Technology and Innovation: UEH and New York University (USA) have promoted academic exchanges in the field of urban science and smart cities. In Europe, cooperation with the University of Basilicata and Politecnico di Milano (Italy) aims to develop the "Wise Town" network and Living Lab model. Meanwhile, cooperation with VGSI focuses on technology applications in urban development. In the field of architecture and design, connections with Hasselt University (Belgium), Tokyo University of Science (Japan), and Yuan Ze University (Taiwan) open up further opportunities for professional exchange on human-centered design and sustainable urban development.
- Economics, Green Finance and Governance: UEH cooperates with City St George's (UK) focusing on areas such as AI Leadership and green finance. With Western Sydney University (Australia), the two sides continue to exchange ideas for developing doctoral-level training and research programs. Meanwhile, cooperation with the University of Barcelona (Spain) opens up research directions related to the maritime and ocean economy.
- Arts, Design and Educational Technology: Connections with the University of Saint Joseph (Macao) and Universiti Sains Malaysia create a premise for academic activities in the field of ArtTech, including the International Projection Mapping Competition and ArtTech Fusion 2026. In the field of education, the cooperation agreement with PacCALL is the basis for UEH to host the GloCALL 2027 conference, continuing to expand international academic exchange forums on educational technology.
- Sustainable Community Development: UEH continues to promote cooperation with UNDP and UNESCO in Vietnam through initiatives related to digital citizenship (Youth Digital Citizen Challenge), education for sustainable development, and responsible business practices in the university environment.
In addition to academic and research cooperation activities, the international partner network is also creating more learning, experiential, and career development opportunities for UEH learners and lecturers.
In recent times, many scholarship programs, student exchanges, field research, and international internships have been implemented or expanded through UEH's partners.
For example, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) has committed to annually awarding 03 U.S. CMA scholarships to outstanding students and 02 scholarships to UEH lecturers.
Sharing about this, Ms. Diana Steinbach, Director of Growth and Marketing of IMA, stated:
"We are very excited about the partnership with UEH to jointly enhance the student experience by bringing practical, hands-on business experience into the classroom, helping them truly become the professionals that future employers need."
In addition to scholarship programs, UEH also continues to diversify forms of student exchange such as study tours, international summer camps, overseas internships, and field research programs in Italy, Japan, Taiwan, and many other partner countries.
Through these activities, learners have more opportunities to access multicultural learning environments, expand international experiences, and strengthen connections with the global academic community.
