What is Trait-Map® and what value does it offer?

Trait-Map® is a professional personality assessment tool that helps you better understand how you work, your natural strengths, traits that can be further developed, your role within a team, and your level of fit with your desired career.

The tool is developed based on the scientific Big Five/OCEAN model, measuring 25 professional personality traits and supporting reports in Vietnamese. Unlike conventional personality tests, Trait-Map® has no right or wrong answers. Participants should answer according to their natural tendencies so that the results more accurately reflect their working style and individual core competencies.

In just about 10-15 minutes, Trait-Map® can help you gain clearer insights into 5 important aspects of your work:

Personal strengths: Where you stand out and how you can leverage your strengths.
Traits that can be developed: The capabilities, skills, or behaviors that can be further developed through practice.
Role in a team: How you tend to contribute most effectively to a team.
Conflict management style: How you tend to respond when facing disagreements or pressure.
Job fit: You can compare your personal traits with your desired job or work environment.

Trait-Map® offers value at different stages of a career. For Staff/Specialists, the tool helps identify strengths, choose development directions, and determine suitable roles within a team. For Managers, Trait-Map® supports reflection on management style, task delegation, team interaction, and conflict management. For Leaders, the tool provides additional reference data on leadership style, influence capabilities, and people development within the organization.

To maximize the effectiveness of Trait-Map®, you should complete the survey in a quiet place, answer intuitively, avoid choosing answers based on an “ideal” image of yourself, and read the report as a reference document to better understand yourself. Trait-Map® does not judge an individual as “good” or “bad”; instead, it helps you reflect on yourself, proactively develop your capabilities, and make more suitable choices throughout your career journey.

The program is 100% funded by UEH, with each Trait-Map® assessment valued at more than VND 1,000,000. As the number of available assessments is limited, UEH will prioritize early registrations to ensure effective implementation and optimal use of resources.

Eligibility: UEH Alumni and former students who activate their UEH Alumni E-Member Card from the date of announcement until August 31, 2026.

Steps to Activate the UEH Alumni E-Member Card

Instructions for Receiving the Free Trait-Map Assessment:

To receive a free Trait-Map® assessment, please follow these steps:

- Step 1: Visit the UEH Alumni Website: https://alumni.ueh.edu.vn/

- Step 2: Register for an account and activate your UEH Alumni E-Member Card according to the instructions above.

- Step 3: Go to the “Events” section and select “Register to Attend” for the event at: http://go.ueh.edu.vn/traitmapalumniUEH

- Step 4: Receive the survey link and Trait-Map personal competency assessment code via the email address provided when activating your UEH Alumni E-Member Card.

- Step 5: Complete the assessment in a focused 10-15 minute session.

- Step 6: Receive the assessment and competency evaluation results immediately.

The survey link and assessment code will be sent via email within 07 working days after successful registration.

Note:

Each individual may complete the assessment only once. Please do not share the survey link or assessment code to ensure confidentiality and proper use. Assessment results will be kept confidential and provided individually to each participant.
