We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to be responsible for the Office and/or Residential properties. The primary focus of this role is on service quality, whilst ensuring efficient management The successful candidate will enjoy working within a great team with a defined career development pathway.

Responsibilities

1. Receivable accounting:

  • Work with Property Managers (PM) and admin executive at projects to get accurate revenue data, to issue VAT invoices and record revenue correctly.
  • Control debt and proactively contact clients and coordinate with PM at projects to collect debts on time.
  • Compare bank statements with clients’ collection data in the system for accuracy
  • Check VAT output reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws, accounting standards and company policies.
  • Monitor and control contracts, fully record information related to clients’ contracts in the contract control file.

2. Payable accounting:

  • Receive payment documents from Accountants at projects, enter data into the system, record costs into projects
  • Check and compare the information on the voucher and in accordance with the company’s policies.
  • Make payments according to the contract period.
  • Reconcile bank statements with data of payments to suppliers related to projects in the system for accuracy
  • Set up expenses and contingency costs for each project monthly.

3. General tasks:

  • Close monthly/quarterly books on time and prepare necessary reports
  • Comply with tax laws, accounting standards and company policies
  • Work with internal accountants to prepare reports as required by the Company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by direct manager

Qualifications

1. Skills and knowledge required:

  • Good skills in office computer (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)…
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting software.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Ability to understand, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Good communication skills in English

2. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in receivable, payable accounting and financial management in multinational companies
