University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Signed Cooperation Agreement with Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State Company Limited

On the afternoon of January 9, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a cooperation signing ceremony with Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State Company Limited and toured its production factory. The event paves the way for future cooperation opportunities, providing students with practice-oriented learning and expanding collaboration in training, scientific research, and recruitment.

An overview of the ceremony

From UEH, attendees included: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – UEH Acting President; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President of UEH; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong – Chairman of the UEH Development Strategy Council; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – Chairman of the Science and Training Council; and leaders from member colleges, campuses, offices, departments, centers, schools, and institutes.

From Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State Company Limited, attendees included Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of the Company. Also in attendance were leaders from Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Beverage Joint Stock Company, including Comrade Phan Thi Giang – Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of the Company; Comrade Pham Thi Thu Huyen – Deputy General Director of the Company, concurrently Director of the Sanvinest Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Raw Material Processing Factory; along with other key officials.

Notably, the signing ceremony was also attended by a delegation from the National Economics University (NEU), including: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – Secretary of the Party Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – President of the University; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu – Vice President of the University; and representatives from specialized offices, departments, and institutes.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung, UEH Acting President, stated that the partnership with Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company was highly significant, particularly in the context of UEH's upcoming campus in Khanh Hoa, the UEH Nexus Campus Nha Trang, and that it would open many opportunities for comprehensive cooperation in the future.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai, General Director of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, shared on behalf of the company's leadership and staff: "The cooperation between Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City is a significant milestone, marking a new stage of development in the partnership between our two units and opening up opportunities to connect the university's education and scientific research with our enterprise."

Building on this strategic partnership, UEH and Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company agreed to implement activities that link training with business practice. Accordingly, the company will welcome UEH students for internships and practical semesters in professional roles relevant to their fields of study. The two parties will also co-organize company tours and practical seminars to enhance the professional capabilities of learners.

In parallel, both sides will promote collaboration in training, research, and human resource connection through corporate-sponsored training programs, conferences, seminars, recruitment activities, and partnership in scholarship programs and community-oriented activities. These cooperative activities affirm UEH's role in connecting stakeholders and partnering with businesses and localities to develop high-quality human resources for sustainable development.

As part of the program, the delegations from UEH and NEU toured the Sanvinest Salanganes Nest Raw Material Processing Factory, one of the key production units of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company. The tour provided faculty with firsthand insights into the production process, quality control, and technology application in salanganes nest processing, broadening their practical perspectives on the operational model of a traditional enterprise that embraces innovation and sustainable development.
