In the context of the rapid development of digital technology and e-commerce, equipping students with knowledge, skills, and an innovative mindset has become a key factor in helping the young generation confidently integrate and affirm their role in the global economy. To provide a forum for connecting knowledge, practice, and career orientation for students, on the afternoon of September 16, 2025, the Unitour 2025 program, with the theme "Leading Vision - Shaping the Era," was successfully held at Hall A.116, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).
The event is one of the key activities of the Digital Business Student Competition 2025, co-organized by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), and the Network of E-commerce Training Institutions, with the partnership of many major enterprises.

Attending the event, representing UEH were: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Thai Kim Phung - Vice Rector of the UEH College of Technology and Design; and leaders from various UEH departments and units. Representing the Vietnam E-commerce Association were: Mr. Tran Van Trong - General Secretary of VECOM; and Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Deputy General Secretary of VECOM.
From the corporate side, guests included: Ms. Le Phuong Dung - Marketing Director of Doppelherz Vietnam; Ms. Ha Do - Social Responsibility Project Manager at TikTok Shop Vietnam; Mr. Tran Khanh Duy - TikTok Shop Training Specialist and Owner of the TikTok channel @duyiuhangviet; Mr. Huynh Khanh Vu - Specialist at Saigon - Hanoi Insurance Corporation (BSH); Mr. Nguyen Manh Dong - Training Specialist at SAPO; and Mr. Tran Trieu Quan - Relationship Management Director at CRED.
In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao shared: “UNITOUR is not just an academic forum, but also a bridge connecting UEH, the business community, and students—a place to share knowledge, skills, and the aspiration for innovation. I believe that after this program, you will have a broader vision, be ready to seize opportunities, and become the leaders of change in the digital era. On behalf of the UEH leadership, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the speakers, our partners from VECOM and VECOMNET, and all the students who have participated. I wish UNITOUR 2025 great success and hope that you will make the most of the opportunities this program offers.”

Mr. Tran Van Trong – General Secretary of the Vietnam E-commerce Association, stated that UNITOUR 2025 would offer students an enriching and meaningful journey with a diverse series of activities, from in-depth sharing by experts to practical discussions with businesses. He also emphasized that this is an opportunity for students to hone their critical thinking, teamwork, and creative skills, thereby empowering them to confidently enter the labor market, start their own businesses, and become pioneers in the digital era.

The program featured numerous in-depth discussions and sharing sessions, including two main sessions:
+ Keynote: "Digital Business Trends and the Application of AI in Business Operations" - Mr. Tran Trieu Quan affirmed that AI is no longer an option but a vital factor for businesses to optimize costs, increase productivity, and enhance customer experience.
+ Keynote: "Digital Business Trends and Job Opportunities in the Pharmaceutical Industry" - Ms. Le Phuong Dung (Doppelherz Vietnam) provided clear evidence that even the pharmaceutical industry—traditionally seen as conservative and stringent—is undergoing a powerful transformation thanks to digital technology.
+ Keynote: "Starting a Business with Affiliate Marketing on TikTok Shop and a Sustainable Path" - Mr. Tran Khanh Duy shared his entrepreneurial journey and how to leverage Affiliate Marketing to create content, build a personal brand, and generate income.
+ Keynote: "Omnichannel Sales Strategy in E-commerce" - Mr. Nguyen Manh Dong (SAPO) emphasized that Omnichannel is a decisive factor for success as consumers now interact across multiple channels.
+ Keynote: "Students Mastering Finances - Digital Safety - Resilient Against Risks" - Mr. Huynh Khanh Vu (BSH) provided skills in personal financial management, warned of cybersecurity risks, and offered essential security solutions for students.
The practical insights from the experts continued to update students on current trends and offer valuable preparation for their academic and career journeys, providing them with a comprehensive view of digital business trends, career opportunities, and essential skills in the context of global integration.

As an active member of the Network of E-commerce Training Institutions (VECOMNET), UEH partners with the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) to provide students with opportunities to access new knowledge, practice real-world skills, and expand their connections with the business community. This is a clear testament to the University's commitment to creating an advanced learning environment that embraces new technologies like AI while strengthening its engagement with industry and society. Through such initiatives, UEH continues to affirm its role as a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, always accompanying learners on their journey to becoming global citizens in the digital era.
