UEH officially launching the issuance of Electronic Certificates for short-term training courses
Since November 2022, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has officially launched the issuance of Electronic Certificates for short-term training courses so that learners and alumni can download certificates by themselves quickly when there is a need, and the units receiving the e-Certificates can easily check and authenticate online. This is one of UEH's efforts in the digital transformation strategy of education, applying information technology to the management and operation process to improve service quality, training, care, and support for learners, to ensure the needs of learners are addressed in the most optimal way.
According to the Regulation on Short-term Training of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (Issued together with Decision No. 1668/QD-ĐHKT-DTTX dated June 10, 2021, of the President of the University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City), Certificates of UEH short-term training and fostering courses (referred to as short-term courses) are granted to learners to confirm their learning results after they have fully complied with the provisions of the short-term course and met the requirements for the final assessment. The learning process of the learners is recognized by the lecturer and certified by the Head of the units organizing the short-term course.
On this basis, in order to create convenience for learners, alumni, and former students in receiving UEH e-Certificates of short-term training courses quickly; at the same time, helping units and individuals look up online and verify Certificates issued by UEH, UEH University has applied digital technology and officially implemented the issuance of UEH Electronic Certificates for short-term training courses from November 2022. This will help ensure consistency and efficiency in the management and storage of Electronic Certificates of short-term training courses issued by UEH.
Accordingly, UEH e-Certificates are issued online for free, users only need to access the website chungchinganhan.ueh.edu.vn, and log in with the student code to download the Certificates by themselves. They will be received and sent directly to individuals/units quickly and conveniently, saving a lot of time and costs. When receiving the UEH Electronic Certificates, individuals and units can easily check the authenticity online.
In case there is a need to use a paper copy, learners and alumni can request and will be issued a Copy from the original book (unlimited and charged). For short-term courses for regular university students, UEH will issue an electronic certificate for the course or each subject depending on the content of the training program and current regulations of UEH.
To receive the UEH Electronic Short-term Training Certificates, learners and alumni follow these steps:
Step 1: Users access the website: chungchinganhan.ueh.edu.vn, and choose ‘Xem chứng chỉ’.
Step 2: Log in to the website with "Students ID"; password is “Students ID”@ueh.
Step 3: If data is found, Click “Tải chứng chỉ” button.
Learners will receive the UEH Electronic Certificates in the form of a file with the following content:
The downloaded UEH e-certificates can be searched by the lookup code at: verify.ueh.edu.vn
Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President of UEH shared: “Actually, more than a year ago, UEH implemented the search and authentication of UEH Diploma (of all courses, systems, types of training) through the QR code printed directly on the Degree. The implementation of issuing e-Certificates for short-term training courses is a step higher and will help UEH learners reduce the burden of administrative procedures, and save a lot of time and fees. At the same time, individuals and units using UEH's e-Certificates can easily look up and verify information on verify.ueh.edu.vn. This also increases the authenticity and efficiency of storage in the operation and administration of the University. Implementing the digital transformation strategy, UEH has constantly exploited and applied information technology to design many necessary support services to improve service quality, ensuring all needs of learners in the best way such as the service that allows learners to self-print certificates and student transcripts with electronic authentication that UEH has implemented in the past.”
