Event Overview

The event marked a significant milestone for UEH in its efforts to enhance the quality of human resources in the fields of accounting, auditing, and finance—professions that play a critical role in the current digital economy. It also reaffirmed UEH’s mission to cultivate a globally competent generation of students, equipped to integrate swiftly into the international labor market and to meet the increasingly rigorous demands of the digital transformation era and sustainable development goals.

The establishment of the Computer-Based ACCA Examination Centre at UEH is not only a milestone in the strategic partnership between two reputable educational and professional institutions—one domestic, one international—but also opens up new opportunities for students, faculty, and the professional community to gain closer access to global professional standards. This development serves as a clear testament to UEH’s ongoing commitment to building excellence in training quality, global integration, and the standardization of education in alignment with international benchmarks.

In his remarks at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bùi Quang Hùng shared:

“The establishment of the Computer-Based ACCA Examination Centre at UEH is a strategic step in our journey toward aligning our training quality with international standards—not only for UEH students but also for the broader professional community in the region. This initiative is an integral component of UEH’s modern, flexible, and globally oriented professional education ecosystem. As one of our key partners, we are proud that UEH and ACCA have jointly launched the ‘Sustainability Hub’ initiative, promoting sustainable development education in the fields of accounting and finance. These efforts further affirm UEH’s pioneering role in training high-quality human resources to meet the demands of global integration and sustainable development.”

Mr. Pulkit Abrol, Director of ACCA Asia Pacific, highly commended the long-standing partnership between ACCA and UEH, which has spanned over a decade. He noted that the number of UEH students and alumni pursuing the ACCA qualification ranks among the highest in the region—clearly reflecting the university’s strong reputation in education and its firm orientation toward global integration.

He further emphasized that the establishment of the Computer-Based ACCA Examination Centre on UEH’s campus not only provides added convenience for the university’s students, but also serves the broader ACCA learner community in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. This initiative enables learners to access and complete their foundational exams in a professional, modern, and globally standardized environment.
