The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) officially announces the application period for the UEH International Student Exchange Scholarship for the Early 2025 Semester, open from May 20, 2025, to June 8, 2025. This is a unique opportunity for students with strong English proficiency and excellent academic records — particularly those awarded the Study Encouragement Scholarship in the previous term — to experience international education with financial support from UEH and its partner institutions.
In continuation of the success from the Late 2024 Semester, UEH remains steadfast in its commitment to internationalizing education, empowering students to reach the world, access global knowledge, and develop comprehensive integration capabilities. The Early 2025 International Student Exchange Scholarship Program reaffirms this mission, offering students the chance to study at top universities across Asia and Europe.
The Early 2025 International Student Exchange Scholarship Program offers two main groups of exchange opportunities:

+ Long-term Exchange Programs (equivalent to one academic semester) in the following countries:
Europe:
+ Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences, Germany
+ Stuttgart Media University (HdM), Germany

+ Rennes University, France

To ensure students can confidently pursue international study and boldly embrace new environments, UEH has established the International Student Exchange Scholarship Program with a range of attractive scholarship opportunities from partner universities. These include full or partial tuition waivers, dormitory support, living stipends, and other forms of assistance depending on the specific program. Notably, students who have received the Study Encouragement Scholarship are prioritized to convert and use its value toward participation in international exchange programs, as part of UEH’s policy to maximize opportunities for young people to access global knowledge and develop integration skills.

Participating in the UEH International Student Exchange Program is a solid stepping stone for students to access advanced education, discover diverse cultures, and build a global network. Depending on the program, students may receive flexible scholarships from partner universities, easing financial pressures while studying abroad.
Upon completion and fulfillment of academic requirements, students may be eligible for equivalent credit transfer to their UEH degree programs, ensuring academic progress. International experience also becomes a standout feature in students’ personal profiles, enhancing their competitiveness when applying to multinational companies and international organizations.
With a “Glo-cal Education” orientation – integrating global thinking with local action – UEH continuously innovates its curriculum, develops international classes, and fosters a multicultural, practical learning environment. The International Student Exchange Scholarship is an ideal “Glo-cal” choice for young people eager to conquer knowledge, broaden their horizons, and confidently embark on the journey to become global citizens.
UEH hopes that the new generation of students will proactively seize this valuable opportunity to join and study at the world’s leading universities, becoming global citizens and building robust international careers.
