UEH Hosts Training Course: “Happy Lecturers – Happy University”

In its pursuit of an ideal working environment where faculty members not only impart knowledge but also find deep satisfaction and happiness, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) successfully organized the specialized training course, “Happy Lecturers - Happy University.”

The course was held in June 2024, attracting the participation of over 30 faculty members and staff. Upon completion, the participants gained essential core values that significantly enhance both quality of life and work performance:
- Personal Happiness Autonomy: Attendees were equipped with the knowledge to deeply identify the components of personal happiness, actively manage their mental health, effectively handle stress, and maintain an optimal balance between their teaching careers and personal lives.
- Fostering a Culture of happiness: Participants learned the criteria framework and practical methods to not only cultivate their own happiness but also to spread positive energy to colleagues and students, directly contributing to a welcoming, open, and friendly academic environment at UEH.
- Optimizing Work performance: Psychological satisfaction and balance will help UEH staff and faculty increase their commitment to the university and elevate the quality of their teaching and research, thereby contributing to UEH’s sustainable development
