UEH held an event to announce the result of the quality accreditation of the University of Economics HCMC in the 2nd period of 2010-2016

In the morning of May 25^th, 2017, at Campus 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, UEH held an event to announce the result of the quality accreditation of UEH in the 2^nd period of 2010-2016, and to publish UEH’s quality accreditation according to national, regional and international standards.

Attending the conference, on the guests’ side was Dr. Ha Huu Phuc - Director General, Director of Representative Office of the Ministry of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh City; Prof. Nguyen Hoi Nghia - Director of the Educational Quality Evaluation Center of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. La Hoai Tuan - Chief of the Office of Educational Quality Assurance Center, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; Representatives of enterprises participating in inspection process; Professional associations which are UEH partners; Alumni and media agencies. On UEH side, Prof. Nguyen Dong Phong - President; Dr. Tran The Hoang - Chairman of UEH Universtiy Council; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Dinh - Chairman of UEH Consulting University Council; Vice Presidents, Chairman of UEH Labor Union, and Heads of the Departments, Schools, Institutes and Centers attached to the University.

UEH has implemented national, regional and international quality accreditation very early and is now a member of the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). Up to now, UEH has had three curriculum (including Finance - Banking and Accounting and Management) which have recognized by the AUN-QA standards since 2015-2016.

In December 2016, UEH has also conducted self-assessment activities of education performance in the 2^nd cycle, period 2011-2016 according to the quality standards promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Training and evaluated the education quality at the university level (at a high rate of 88.52%).

From May 10^th to 12^th, 2017, UEH had the honor to welcome an international education accreditation delegation from FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation), a Swiss governmental quality assurance organization. FIBAA currently has two representative offices located in Bonn city, Germany and Zurich city, Switzerland. The mission of FIBAA this time was to check and evaluate 4 training programs (Master Program in Development Economics under the graduate joint-program of UEH and Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands; Master of Business Administration; Bachelor of Business Administration of the International School of Business; and Bachelor of International Business under the School of International Business - Marketing) to guarantee that UEH is eligible to apply for accreditation at AUN level in Q3, 2017, and with the aim of asserting the quality of training at international standards.

With his speech, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Hoi Nghia, believes that UEH’s great achievements over the past years is a powerful motivation for UEH to make a breakthrough progress not only to be on par with the top universities in Asia but also to reach a higher level in the context of increasing global and regional integration in the near future.
