UEH Day 2022 - An impressive journey, successfully creating the culture of One UEH

The UEH Day 2022 journey was successfully completed with very special memories of nearly 800 UEH officials and employees. UEH Day may have ended, but the culture of One UEH has been created and will unite the UEH team sustainably, bringing the UEH ship to a new goal - A multidisciplinary and Sustainable University.

UEH Day 2022 with a very special version took place in 2 days November 18 and 19, 2022 in Dat Do town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. With thoughtful investment and preparation, UEH Day has successfully brought meaningful experiences with great emotions to nearly 800 participating officials with spaces to rest, eat, and participate in creative and fun activities and games, since then, forging and connecting the spirit of readiness to transform for a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University among all UEH officials and employees.

Proud of the UEH tradition

Right from the early morning of November 18, UEH lecturers were extremely excited and interested to get ready to start the amazing UEH Day 2022 journey. Especially the enthusiastic spirit of participating in the game "Traditional Pride" - reviewing the historical imprints, achievements, and significant milestones through the important development stages of UEH including Beginning (1975) - 1976), Construction (1977 - 1985), "Innovation" and development (1986 - 2000), Brand Affirmation (2001 - 2010), Autonomy and Internationalization (2011 - 2020), UEH - Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University (2021 - 2030). The activities that took place on the journey have created an open, happy, and enthusiastic atmosphere to open the UEH Day 2022 journey.

Together towards a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University

The most important activity within the framework of UEH Day 2022 - "The Conference on the Role of UEH Teams for a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University" took place extremely successfully with unforgettable feelings of pride in the heart of every UEH officer and employee. There, we listened to and understood the mission, vision, and strategic directions of Multidisciplinary and Sustainable UEH from the University's leadership. Witnessing the proud moments of UEH when being awarded the Certificate of Top 401+ Best Universities in Asia (according to QS Asia University Rankings 2023); The Journal of Asian Business and Economic Studies (JABES) achieved a Citescore Citation Index of 5.0 in the Scopus category; officially announced and awarded the decision to appoint 2 Vice Presidents of UEH for the term 2020 - 2025, and honored the title of Associate Professor in 2022, in addition, the meaningful and sincere sharing of UEH teachers and employees for the development strategy of the University.

And that unforgettable moment is the time when the UEH team together chanted the slogan "Ready for Multidisciplinary and Sustainable UEH". A spirit of "Pioneering innovation - Connecting generations - Spreading passion" has been strongly spread in each UEHer to build together the pillar of "sustainable belief" on the transformation journey of the next 10 years.

Together with the determination to be proud, it is a meaningful moment when the music and lyrics of "Bụi Phấn" play, celebrating a special season of UEH's 20/11 charter season with a hundred-year career of growing people.

Burning with all your heart with the campaign challenge "Unity for sustainable development"

After the conference ended, each UEHer was immersed in nature with the long coastline of Dat Do - Vung Tau to join together in activities promoting teamwork, and regenerating energy to work actively, showing the spirit of environmental protection through the games that the Organizing Committee has prepared.

Through the Team Building challenge with team games and beach activities, the teachers and lecturers worked together with 4 team games including UEH logo stacking, UEH Working together, UEH Connecting love, and UEH - perfect puzzle piece, since then, creating an extremely vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere, showing the spirit of companionship and solidarity of the UEH team as the motto "Unity for sustainable development",

Exploding with art and music space

The Gala Dinner has definitely left an unforgettable impression on the entire UEHers with an art space with an irresistible combination of music, lighting, fashion shows and colors with environmentally friendly materials under the theme of “UEH Green Citizen” with artistic inspirations created by UEHers themselves.

In particular, these special performances have shown that each UEHer is a separate color, a dynamic and creative energy source, and together created a generation of colorful UEH officials.

Getting creative with mind maps UEH: Ready for Next

After the energetic activities of the first day, UEHers started the second day at UEH Day with a creative activity called "Building Mindmaps - Looking to the Future". With the topics proposed by the UEH Leadership Board, each team thought together, discussed, and presented meaningful, creative, and practical solutions on a mind map.

Each product of the competition teams are ideas and initiative that contribute to the development strategy of the University in the upcoming period and will be exhibited in strategic areas of UEH as a recognition for all officials and employees participating in the program.

The ship UEH has reached out to a sea of knowledge with a proud 47-year journey. These are efforts to train generations of global citizens, research for the public good, and act and change for sustainability. These achievements are the crystallization of the wisdom, efforts, solidarity, and love of all UEH leaders, lecturers, officials, and employees of all periods. Promoting the values accumulated over time, on the way to 47 years old, UEH officially transformed - "Ready for a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University". At this important historical milestone, more than ever, UEH puts its hope and faith in a united, cohesive, hard-working, and dedicated team to steer the ship to success together.

With these expectations, UEH Day 2022 is the opening event for a new journey of the UEH team. Hopefully, this will be the first launching pad for the "One UEH" culture, for each of us to cultivate the good values of UEH, and contribute together to bring the Multidisciplinary and Sustainable UEH Strategy to incredible success.
