Training Conference on the General Inventory of Public Assets at Agencies, Organizations, Units, and State-Invested Infrastructure Assets under the Management of the Ministry of Education and Training

On December 10, 2024, the Training Conference on the General Inventory of Public Assets at Agencies, Organizations, Units, and State-Invested Infrastructure Assets under the Management of the Ministry of Education and Training was held at Campus B of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).

An overview of the event.

The conference was organized to implement Plan No. 1756/KH-BGDĐT, dated November 27, 2024, of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) regarding the general inventory of public assets. This follows Decision No. 213/QĐ-TTg, dated March 1, 2024, of the Prime Minister, which approved the project for a general inventory of public assets at agencies, organizations, units, and state-invested and managed infrastructure assets under MOET's purview.

Attending the event were Mr. Dinh Minh Tung – Deputy Director-General of the Department of Planning and Finance, MOET; Mr. Le Tuan Anh – Deputy Director-General of the Public Asset Management Agency, Ministry of Finance; and presenters from the Public Asset Management Agency. Representing UEH was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – Vice President of the University; along with heads of asset and facility management departments, accountants, and responsible staff from units under the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the conference, presenters and delegates discussed and presented on several topics, including: disseminating legal regulations related to the general inventory of public assets; providing specific guidance for implementation at individual units; installation and technical guidance for the public asset inventory software; discussing unresolved issues and implementation measures; and providing guidance on several aspects of public asset management and use as stipulated in Decree No. 114/2024/NĐ-CP, dated September 15, 2024, of the Government, which amends and supplements several articles of Decree No. 151/2017/NĐ-CP, dated December 26, 2017.

With a spirit of active discussion, the conference concluded successfully. Delegates were trained in professional procedures and received clarification on issues encountered during implementation at their respective units.
