MOU signing ceremony between UEH College of Economics, Law and Government and Omega Plus Books

An overview of the MOU signing ceremony between UEH College of Economics, Law and Government and Omega Plus.

Attending the ceremony from UEH were Dr. Tran Thi Tuan Anh – Vice Rector of the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government; Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh – Vice Dean of the School of Law; Cao Van Tien, M.A. – Vice Director of the UEH Publishing House; and Nguyen Thi Thuong Nho, M.A. – Secretary of the UEH Youth Union and concurrently Secretary of the CELG Youth Union.

Representing Omega Plus were Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Phuong – Managing Director of Omega Plus Books; Mr. Nguyen Quang Dieu – Head of Manuscript Development for the Southern Region; Ms. Trinh Thi Ai Sa – Representative of Omega Plus in the Southern Region; and Ms. Nguyen Giang Diem Vy – Head of Sales.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Tran Thi Tuan Anh shared CELG's development orientation, emphasizing the need to strengthen the link between academia and practice and encouraging students to access knowledge through a culture of reading. Representing Omega Plus, Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Phuong shared the company's journey and echoed the university's vision of disseminating knowledge through high-quality publications. In more specific terms, Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh expressed a desire to collaborate with Omega Plus in publishing specialized law books, tailored specifically for the School of Law, to support the teaching and research activities of both lecturers and students.

With a shared commitment to establishing a sustainable relationship, the two parties discussed the details and unanimously agreed to sign an MOU with the following key areas of cooperation:

  • Publishing and knowledge dissemination: CELG will act as an academic advisor and recommend experts, while Omega Plus will handle publishing and distribution, offering special discounts to UEH faculty and students.
  • Academic activities and training: Joint organization of seminars, workshops, and expert talk shows; facilitate student internships and company tours.
  • Reading culture development: They will jointly implement reading promotion programs and sponsor books for academic and creative student activities.

The moment of the MOU signing between CELG and Omega Plus

The signing ceremony marked a significant step in the cooperative relationship between the two units, aimed at disseminating intellectual values to the UEH faculty and student community. This partnership not only strengthens university-business ties but also reflects the development orientation of UEH and CELG in promoting academic excellence and enhancing practical experiences for students.
