CFVG - UEH officially launches Joint Master's Program in Hospitality Management with FERRANDI Paris (France)

An overview of the Master of Science in Hospitality Management program announcement ceremony.

Attending the event from UEH were Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – Chairman of the Science and Training Council; Assoc. Representing CFVG were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fabien De Geuser – Co-Director of CFVG; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Viet Tien – Co-Director of CFVG; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Mai Dong – Academic Director of the CFVG MBA Program.

From FERRANDI Paris, Prof. Dr. Rodolphe Bardot – Academic Director & Master's Program Development, was in attendance. The event also welcomed distinguished guests from diplomatic corps, domestic and international universities, professional associations, and enterprises in the tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy sectors.

Shaping a new generation of leaders for the global hospitality industry

As Vietnam's tourism and hospitality industry experiences robust growth, with over 15.6 million international arrivals in 2024 and an impressive post-pandemic recovery, the demand for managers with vision, leadership skills, and global integration capabilities has become increasingly urgent.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – Chairman of the Science and Training Council, emphasized that the joint international Master of Science in Hospitality Management program between CFVG-UEH and FERRANDI Paris is designed not only at the mission of training quality human resources but also at contributing to the sustainable development of the nation's tourism and hospitality sector in the new era.

Aligning international training standards with national realities, Dr. Rodolphe Bardot, Academic Director & Master's Program Development at FERRANDI Paris, emphasized: "The launch of the FERRANDI Paris MSc in Hospitality Management in Vietnam marks a significant milestone for the industry. The partnership between FERRANDI Paris and CFVG not only brings international academic standards but also helps shape the future of the region's tourism and hospitality sector. Vietnam is emerging as a dynamic destination in Asia, requiring managers with a global mindset and local expertise. Through the MHM program, we aim to train a new generation of young managers capable of leading innovation and sustainable development for the industry."

A sustainable foundation for high-quality human resource training, elevating French-Vietnamese educational cooperation

In partnership with FERRANDI Paris - a prestigious institution under the CCI Paris Ile-de-France and a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) - the Master of Science in Hospitality Management (MHM) program is structured to deliver outstanding academic and practical value. The program aims to comprehensively develop leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and innovative capacity, meeting the growing demand for high-quality management professionals in the industry.

In addition to its international curriculum, the program offers scholarship opportunities for UEH's tourism graduates and personnel from CFVG's partner organizations and enterprises. Graduates will receive a Master of Science degree awarded by FERRANDI Paris, officially recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training—a prestigious credential affirming their academic and professional competence in the global labor market.

Furthermore, the program reaffirms UEH's mission in pioneering innovation in higher education, aiming to train a global workforce that is competitive, sustainably-minded, and adaptable to the dynamics of the modern service economy. It reinforces the vision of a Multidisciplinary, Sustainable, and Integrated University, where knowledge is disseminated in close connection with societal development.

About CFVG and the Master of Science in Hospitality Management (MHM) Program

Established in 1992 through a cooperation agreement between the French and Vietnamese governments, CFVG is a partnership between the CCI Paris Ile-de-France and two host universities: UEH and the National Economics University (NEU). With over 30 years of development, CFVG has affirmed its pioneering position in management education in Vietnam, serving as a sustainable bridge between the French and Vietnamese education systems.

The MHM is the first international joint Master of Science (MSc) program in Hospitality Management in Vietnam. It is designed, taught (with participation from UEH), and directly awarded by FERRANDI Paris, with all studies conducted in Vietnam. The first intake is scheduled for January 2026, with an expected class size of 15–30 students.

The MHM program lasts approximately 18 months (3 semesters), is taught entirely in English, and comprises 60 ECTS credits according to European standards. Students will be taught by international professors from FERRANDI Paris, lecturers from UEH, and leading industry experts from Vietnam and the region.

Specifically, students have the opportunity to participate in a short-term study trip to France, offering students a hands-on learning experience at FERRANDI Paris—an emblem of excellence in gastronomy and hospitality management education in France and Europe.

Tuition for Cohort 1: 367.536.000 VNĐ (excluding additional fees). CFVG will offer some scholarships to graduates of UEH's Tourism program and personnel from CFVG's corporate partners.
