UII CONNECTS WITH ONE TREE HILL VENTURES AND A DELEGATION OF 13 KOREAN STARTUPS

Recently, on April 21, 2026, the UEH Institute of Innovation (UII) successfully hosted a working and networking session with the investment fund One Tree Hill Ventures and 13 startups from South Korea. The event not only marked another significant step forward in international collaboration efforts, but also opened up broader opportunities for exchange within the UII startup community.

With impressive economic growth and a highly skilled technology workforce, Vietnam is emerging as an increasingly attractive destination for international investment funds and startup ventures. The meeting, held under the framework of the OneScaleX Programme, took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere at UEH Campus Vo Thi Sau. The event welcomed representatives from One Tree Hill Ventures and 13 promising startup projects from South Korea that are seeking opportunities to expand their scale and enter the Vietnamese market.

Sharing the Startup and Innovation Ecosystem at UEH

At the beginning of the program, representatives of the Institute of Innovation presented a comprehensive overview of the development of Vietnam’s startup and innovation ecosystem, while also providing in-depth insights into UII’s incubation and startup support programs. Going beyond the traditional educational model, UEH is positioning itself as a multidisciplinary university with a strong focus on innovation, featuring a well-invested startup incubator in terms of infrastructure, expert networks, and optimized support policies. The academic and practical insights shared by UII helped the Korean partners gain a deeper understanding of the local business environment and culture.

The highlight of the event, and the part that delivered the greatest practical value, was the open dialogue between Vietnamese founders and the Korean delegation.
