Amid rapid urban development, poverty in Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding areas has become an increasingly urgent issue. The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has made significant contributions toward poverty alleviation and economic development through a series of national and international academic conferences and research initiatives.
To commemorate this special occasion, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Sripatum University (SPU) collaborated to organize the Cultural Tournament: 10th Anniversary UEH x SPU" on March 9, 2023, within the framework of Cultural Connections - UEH English Zone. The program has created a new opportunity for students from the two schools to learn, exchange cultures, gain new knowledge, and develop international skills.
Vietnam Commercial Mediation Competition 2023 (V-Med 2023) was organized by the College of Economics, Law and Government of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH CELG) in collaboration with the Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center (VICMC) to promote and to disseminate knowledge and skills on how to resolve disputes through commercial mediation in Vietnam.
From October 13 - 15, 2023, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) officially organized a series of annual international art exhibitions, conferences and seminars that integrated art and technology - ArtTech Fusion 2023 with the theme "Inspiration for People to Act on Sustainability". On June 24, 2024, 26 UEH students from the Institute of Intelligent and Interactive Technology (3I) completed their exchange semester at National United University (NUU), Taiwan. However, mastering a new foreign language for communication is difficult because learners must overcome not only knowledge but also psychological and emotional obstacles.
From November 5-7, 2023, JABES in affiliation with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) had a business trip to survey and discuss the cooperation in organizing ACBES 2024 with the leadership of Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) and Udayana University (UNUD) in Bali, Indonesia. The business trip aimed to concretize the cooperation agreements between the three universities: UEH, UNPAD, and UNUD in co-organizing the ACBES International Conference 2024.
On the afternoon of April 13, 2023, the School of International Business - Marketing (College of Business UEH) held the SIBM seminar "Logistics managers' competence and firms' logistics performance: are they related?". The seminar introduced the preliminary results of the joint research between UEH University and RMIT University (Australia) in the industry on the relationship between logistics and supply chain capabilities with logistics performance of enterprises to researcher, experts, scholars and students.
