On the 96th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2021), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) would like to extend our most heartfelt congratulations and sincere gratitude to all media agencies, journalists, reporters, editors and every individual in the field who have continuously accompanied and supported our university over the years.

Poet Trinh Thanh Hang once wrote in her poem titled “Journalism”, and we quote:

“Journalism is committed to understand

Being a ‘bright-eyed’ profession with ‘inner heart’

‘Sharp pen’ to write reportage to the community

An honest profession and also a dangerous profession”

For many years, journalism has always been a profession that demands utmost commitment, fire and loyalty where the truth fights to be revealed to the public daily. It is, what Poet Trinh Thanh Hang said, a field in which honesty is key and challenges are always impending. So on the joyous occasion of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day’s 96th anniversary, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and UEH Vinh Long join in the celebration to show our appreciation to all journalists, reports, editors and media agencies, all of whom have diligently been our greatest patronage in the last 45 years.

To every one of our esteemed and honorable journalists, reporters and editors, we wish you health, happiness and prosperity in your careers. May you always carry your torch for the field and remain a meaningful and impactful contributor to our society.
