TEDxUEH – Millennial Momentum

In the afternoon of Jan 14, 2017, at 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu Campus, University of Economics Hochiminh City (UEH) held the TEDxUEH event - the very first TEDx event at UEH.

The event welcome distinguished guests such as Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - President of UEH, Mr.  Phan Nhu Minh - Vice Dean of International School of Business, Mr.  Nguyen Thanh Su - Deputy Head of Department of Communications and Public Relations, Mr. Phan Ngoc Anh - Deputy Head of Department of Communications and Public Relations, along with other guests and more than 200 students from many universities in Hochiminh City.

TED stands for Technology - Education - Design, it is a non-profit program founded for sharing great ideas to help changing the world. At TED forum, academic contents are simplified into attractive short talks by speakers from around the world. With the same message "Ideas worth Spreading", TEDx is a platform which supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community.

Speakers of TEDxUEH brought about amazing ideas that help explain the “momentum” of today’s generation. Audience could also listen to these ideas given in the form of art. Performances from prominent artists lured them into the world of art and ideas. In addition, participants also enjoyed a buffet of numerous savory and sweet dishes as well as visit an exhibition brought to them by the pioneers in divergent fields.
