On the afternoon of September 14, 2026, at UEH Campus B, the UEH College of Business (COB) and Kafi Securities Corporation held a Signing Ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a new step in the collaboration between the university and the company, particularly in education, human resource development, and professional activities
Attending the ceremony, representatives from the UEH College of Business included Dr. Tran Anh Hoa - Vice Rector of the UEH College of Business; Dr. Nguyen Tan Trung - Chief of COB Office, UEH College of Business; and MSc. Duong Kha - Vice Dean of the School of Finance. Representing Kafi Securities Corporation were Ms. Luc Kim Thanh - Director of Digital Business; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Y - Director of the Investment Advisory Region; Mr. Tran Doan Tien - Digital Business Manager; and Ms. Nguyen Thao Nhung - Communications and Brand Manager.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Anh Hoa - Vice Rector of the UEH College of Business highlighted the role of businesses in supporting the university's education and human resource development activities. He noted that stronger connections with businesses in the finance and securities sectors can provide students with opportunities to gain practical experience, update their professional knowledge, and develop skills that meet the requirements of the labor market.

During the ceremony, representatives of the UEH College of Business and Kafi Securities Corporation officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of representatives from both sides. The agreement provides a basis for the two parties to explore and implement activities that match their respective strengths and needs, particularly in education, human resource development, and professional cooperation.
Under the agreement, the two sides will focus on three key areas of cooperation: (1) connecting education with practical experience through the joint organization of corporate semesters and field visits; (2) connecting and attracting talent, with Kafi supporting UEH’s Career Fairs and related activities to expand opportunities for students and learners to connect with businesses, while UEH also supports the company in accessing young talent; and (3) connecting with the community, sharing knowledge, and promoting sustainable action.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding provides a foundation for the UEH College of Business and Kafi to leverage their respective strengths, gradually implement practical cooperation activities, strengthen the connection between education and business practice, and create more development opportunities for learners.

4th ASEAN+ Summer Camp 2026: A Journey of Learning, Discovery, and Connection for UEH Students in Malaysia
Continuing its efforts to expand learning opportunities and provide students with meaningful international experiences, the College of Business – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (COB – UEH) continued its participation in the ASEAN+ Summer Camp 2026, the fourth edition of the academic and cultural exchange program for students across the region. Held from July 26 to August 1, 2026, and hosted by Universiti Malaya (University of Malaya), Malaysia, this year’s program was organized under the theme “Empowering ASEAN Youth: Innovation, Sustainability and the Future of Regional Economy,” providing students with opportunities to explore the knowledge, perspectives, and capabilities needed to navigate the rapid changes shaping the region and the world.
UEH Students Experience an International Learning Journey at Taiwan Summer University 2026
As part of its ongoing efforts to expand international learning opportunities and provide students with meaningful global experiences, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continues to facilitate students’ participation in academic and cultural exchange programs with international partner universities. From July 27 to August 2, 2026, Vietnamese students, including students from UEH, participated in the Taiwan Summer University Program in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The program was organized by National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan, and Parami University, Myanmar, and hosted by NSYSU.
