INTRODUCTION

Economic
Development Review (EDR) is the HCMC University of Economics' organ
for economic studies. The journal was granted the license No
1642/BC-GPXB on July 22, 1991 by the Ministry of Culture and
Information.

Prof.
Dr.
Nguyeãn Thanh Tuyeàn
is now the journal's editor-in-chief.

The
EDR's target is to disseminate the Party and Government's policies for
economic development; exchange studies on economic issues in
accordance with Vietnamese circumstance; and present techno-scientific
achievements, advanced technologies as well as foreign and local
experience in management.

The
journal includes 32 pages covering current facts and events, research
and development, world economy, legislation, markets and prices,
culture, education, and other issues.

The
EDR's contributors are well-known researchers, PhDs, MAs, professors,
journalists and enterpreneurs nationwide and worldwide.

The
journal is published monthly on the fifteenth day. Its contents is
accessible on the webpages of the HCMC University of Economics and the
Financial Times Group.

may buy and subscribe to EDR at the editorial office, post offices
over the country, and
